Ontario Quebec Regional Nursing Conference

“Ryerson University, in collaboration with George Brown College and Centennial College, is proud to be hosting the CNSA 2016 Ontario & Quebec Regional Conference at the Metro Toronto Convention Center in Toronto, Ontario. This transformational annual Regional Conference will take place in the heart of downtown Toronto surrounded by world-class healthcare facilities. We invite you to be a part of this inspiring and educational event to advance Ontario’s future generations of nurses and nurse leaders.

This year’s conference theme, Building the Future: Inspiring the Next Generation of Nurses, places an emphasis on empowering our future nurses with the tools, skills, and knowledge to deliver a positive impact in the healthcare field. We understand that as future nurses, we will be faced with a wide range of challenges in our healthcare system and in our community. Hence, it is our goal to inspire and motivate future nurses to not only be nurses, but to become future leaders, leaders of tomorrow who will bring positive changes to our healthcare system and to our society.”

Delegates Experience

Workshops & Panels

One of the major highlights of the conference, participants will be able to engage in a variety of workshops, presentations, and nursing panels presented by new graduates, nurse educators, and nurse leaders from around the community. Our key panel this year will reflect on the implications of “Caring for Individuals with Experiences with Violence”.

Career & Exhibitor Fair

Throughout the conference, we invite participants to visit the career and exhibitor fair to meet over 20 community partners who can answer questions about NCLEX preparation, job openings, nursing advocacy organizations, and much much more!

Nightingale Gala

This black-tie affair is dedicated to honour the contribution and sacrifices of Florence Nightingale. The gala will bring local healthcare partners, faculty, and delegates together to celebrate the end of the conference. A delicious three-course meal with live music will start the evening off, followed by a photo booth, live DJ and music videos to round off the evening until 1:00AM.
